BK IMPORT CO., LTD. ("BKIMPORT", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) of Thailand ("PDPA").
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
We only collect the data you choose to send us through our forms (Contact, Pro Catalogue request, Corporate Gift quote request), by email, LINE or WhatsApp:
- identity and contact details: first name, last name, email address, phone number, LINE ID;
- professional details: company name, job title, type of business;
- the content of your request (occasion, quantities, products of interest);
- technical data collected when you browse (see section 9 and our Cookie Policy).
We do not collect sensitive personal data (as defined in Section 26 of the PDPA) and we do not sell your data.
3. Why we use your data (purposes and legal bases)
- to answer your request, send our catalogue or prepare a quotation — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Section 24(3));
- to manage the commercial relationship, deliveries and invoicing with our customers — performance of a contract (Section 24(3)) and compliance with Thai accounting and tax laws (Section 24(6));
- to send you news and offers about our products, only if you have agreed to it — consent (Section 19);
- to measure website audience with statistics cookies, only if you have agreed to it — consent (Section 19);
- to keep our website and systems secure — legitimate interest (Section 24(5)).
If you do not provide the data marked as required in our forms, we will not be able to answer your request.
4. Who receives your data
Your data is used by the BKIMPORT team. It may be shared with service providers acting on our behalf and bound by confidentiality obligations: website hosting and forms (Wix.com), email (Google Workspace), messaging (LINE, WhatsApp) and, for customers, our logistics and accounting providers. It may be shared within our group with BKXPORT SAS (France), our parent company, for commercial follow-up. We may also disclose data when required by Thai law or by a competent authority.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers, and our parent company, are located or store data outside Thailand (including in the European Union, Israel and the United States). Where the destination country does not offer an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses provided by these providers, or on the other conditions set out in Sections 28 and 29 of the PDPA.
6. How long we keep your data
- Requests that do not lead to an order: up to 2 years after our last exchange.
- Customer data: for the duration of the business relationship, then for at least 5 years for accounting documents, as required by the Accounting Act B.E. 2543 and the Revenue Code.
- Marketing and cookie consent: until you withdraw it. Records of your consent are kept as evidence.
After these periods, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before;
- access your data and obtain a copy, and ask how it was obtained;
- receive your data in a readable format or have it sent to another controller (data portability);
- object to the processing of your data;
- request the deletion, destruction or anonymisation of your data;
- request the restriction of processing;
- request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
To exercise these rights, email contact@bkimport-th.com. We will reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), Thailand.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, alteration and unauthorised access. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the PDPC and, where required, the persons concerned, as provided by the PDPA.
9. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies, needed for it to work and be secure, and — only with your consent — statistics cookies. You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and change your choice at any time. Details are available in our Cookie Policy.
10. Minors
Our website is intended for adults and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without the consent of their parent or legal guardian.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with its date of last update.
